Upcoming Car Releases in January 2016 –

1) Mahindra KUV100 Expected Release Date – 15th Jan Estimated Price – Rs.5 - 7.50 lakh - Mahindra KUV100 will be a compact SUV and with its low pricing will be one of the most affordable SUV’s available. The key selling points of the Mahindra KUV100 include high ground clearance, spacious interiors and aggressive SUV styling. It’s fuel efficiency will be competing with Ford EcoSport and once launched, the Mahindra KUV100 will undoubtedly, become the smallest product coming from the Indian automaker.

2) Ford Endeavour Expected Release Date – This month Estimated Price – Rs.24 – 30 lakh – The upcoming Ford Endeavour is also known as the Everest in other markets. The new Endeavour will boast of the new 'Terrano Response' 4 wheel drive system with adjusting traction control and other technological improvements that will really deliver an overall enhanced off-road performance. The next-gen new Ford Endeavour is expected to offer the combined fuel efficiency of 12 to 14 km per litre.

3) Datsun RediGo Expected Release Date – End of the month Estimated Price – Rs.3 – 5 lakh - Datsun, the subsidiary unit of Nissan Motor Company introduce Datsun Redi GO hatchback that will give a tough competition to cars like Chevrolet Spark, Hyundai Eon. The Redi Go hatchback will get new 800 cc 3-cylinder petrol. Datsun Redi Go will also be incredibly good in terms of fuel economy with the efficient 0.8 Litre in-line. This gasoline engine is anticipated to deliver mileage of around 20 – 23 kmpl. This car also boasts a sleek design and an attractive interior.

4) Mahindra Quanto AMT Expected Release Date – End Jan – mid –Feb Estimated Price – Rs.6 – 8 lakh - Mahindra has announced an AMT version of the standard Quanto. In terms of design there won’t be any changes in this car but then there would be a convenient change in the transmission box with the introduction of AMT also known as automated manual transmission box. Higher fuel efficiency and reduced emission. Mahindra claims fuel saving of up to 40 litres per annum with its regenerative braking technology. It has also improved on its look and interiors. It will have 1.5L, 3 cylinder mCR100 engine which has a twin stage turbo charger. This pint of an engine produces a maximum power output of 100 bhp at 3750 rpm and a torque of 240 Nm at a range of 1600 to 2800 rpm. In addition to the 5 speed manual transmission, it will get a 5 speed AMT transmission as well.
